At EUPRIS Biologicals, we are proud to be the first industry partner to commercialize a patented technology for the production of Curcumin Quantum Dots (CurQDs)—a transformative advancement derived from curcumin, the active compound in turmeric.
This cutting-edge method enables the biocompatible, stable, and scalable synthesis of CurQDs, addressing long-standing challenges associated with curcumin, such as poor solubility and limited bioavailability. With superior nanoformulation, CurQDs unlock a wide range of applications across cosmetics and pharmaceuticals.
In skincare, CurQDs offer powerful antioxidant and antibacterial properties, ideal for anti-acne solutions, UV protection, and skin rejuvenation. In therapeutic applications, they present new possibilities for managing chronic infections such as periodontitis, thanks to their ability to penetrate biofilms and deliver targeted action.
This innovation was developed in collaboration with a leading research university, and EUPRIS Biologicals is honored to have signed a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to bring this technology from lab to market—demonstrating our commitment to bridging science and society.
